<img width="1228" height="1106" width_o="1228" height_o="1106" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/074a430e7fb200329a37328fc59a183915be7405867fe41fa4443dfddf111dde/Screenshot-2024-10-20-at-12.02.53.png" data-mid="220018265" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/074a430e7fb200329a37328fc59a183915be7405867fe41fa4443dfddf111dde/Screenshot-2024-10-20-at-12.02.53.png" />

6. Hit Play (the project is already configurated to loop)

<img width="1238" height="718" width_o="1238" height_o="718" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/9668e654d3bb87f14cd3ab3b3ab0393aee1a9508c8e5489bfadcc7cecdba567d/Screenshot-2024-10-18-at-21.47.15.png" data-mid="219976751" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/9668e654d3bb87f14cd3ab3b3ab0393aee1a9508c8e5489bfadcc7cecdba567d/Screenshot-2024-10-18-at-21.47.15.png" />

If there is any problem with audio, maybe you have to re-configure the audio settings:
Here is the troubleshooting:

1. Check again if the soundcard is connected. The sound source is OUT 01-10 (BEHRINGER UMC 1820) If it not appears you have to restart the computer.

2. Check audio output settings in Ableton Lite project.
Go to Settings &gt; Driver Type ASIO &gt; Audio Device UMC ASIO Driver.&nbsp;

Meta Nazarenas, 2022Photography

Meta-Nazarena is a representation of the Nazarene woman of today, who keeps nazarene traditions close to her heart, but who does not live exclusively tied to the memories of the past. When I photographed these three Nazarenes to be the promotional image of a project whose idea would be a workshop on the Carnival of Nazaré, they were very interested in participating and sought to know more about the concept of this work. It was clear that this collaboration with the Nazarene woman existed because there was an enormous desire to get involved in new challenges, to continue a process of evolution and learning so that somehow she can travel to new worlds where she can also create a new space that allows her to explore creative ideas.A special thanks to oonify and to my friends Pessante and Rui Tavares.

Spaces exist that in themselves long for dynamism, movement, sounds and color. Synchronize acquaints us with one of these spaces through a performance by the authors. The space is transformed by a plastic audiovisual reaction. It is strong enough to take us on a journey of synchronized rhythms, where the image obeys the communicative interactivity between the sonority obtained and the emptiness of the space.

We Are (still) Not Somewhere
As part of the France-Portugal cross-season and the Festival d’Automne in Paris, students from the Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Faculdade de Belas-Artes of the University of Lisbon have collectively imagined an event for the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins based on performances, films, and sound pieces that resonate with the work of the Portuguese artist Ernesto de Sousa. Originating in a performance "Nós não estamos algures", imagined by the Portuguese filmmaker, art critic and curator Ernesto de Sousa (1921-1988) in 1969 at the Primeiro Acto theater club (Algés), the event "We are (still) not somewhere" is intended to be a transcultural iteration of the performative and intermedia experiments initiated by the Portuguese artists' collectives of the late 1960s. Freely inspired by the improvised lecture of the Portuguese artist and writer Almada Negreiros in his collection "A Invenção do Dia Claro" (The Invention of Clear Time, 1921), the collective performance "Nós não estamos algures" was originally conceived as an open work of art that brought together diverse practices, from the reading of poems and the realization of theatrical stagings to the screening of films simultaneously, the broadcasting of sound compositions, and the exhibition of sculptures to be activated. In search of new modes of communication and interaction with the public, Ernesto de Sousa conceived art as a collaborative process and intended to inscribe it in a festive ritual capable of destabilizing social hierarchies and of forming a true community of artists/authors considered as "aesthetic operators". Within the chapel of the Petits-Augustins des Beaux-Arts, a utopian microcosm of a Western art history that is both fantasized and contested, performances, films, dances, scores, and sound pieces imagined by artists trained at the Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Faculdade de Belas-Artes of the University of Lisbon will be mixed. At the heart of this concert of forms, voices and images combine, clash, annihilate and reinforce each other like a random choreography of gestures and narratives that re-negotiate the contours of a cultural landscape in the making.

Paparuka Paparuka, 2022Video, color, 6´07”,&nbsp; loop

"Paparuka Paparuka" is an invocation of memory, a delicate exercise in reminiscence wrapped up in a karaoke device. Fragments of the old nazarene Carnival songs, buried in dreams, stripped of order and harmony, float like traces of happiness. Old poems that intertwine in sleep, lyrical echoes of jubilant days.
Saxophone composition by Wilson Ferreira

	Ephemeral War, 2023Video
	Soap bubbles emerge into the sky, organic and unpredictable, dancing with the air currents and reflecting light in an ephemeral color show. In a military exercise, ruthless drones burst into the scene, chasing and destroying the delicate beauty of these bubbles. A poetic episode in which the fragility of a natural world is confronted with the cold precision of war machine technology.

	Purpose Sound, 2022Video selected for FUSO 2022

	In turn, several soap bubbles enter a public space in which there is a microphone. This is where they are allowed to shine, where they can be admired and "heard", but the only thing we will hear is their ending. Their durability is brief and fleeting, and the space becomes empty again, without messages. Those who do reach these spaces, and who have some kind of exposure, may use it for a purpose, but in most cases, in the mid or short term, their message will be ephemeral and irrelevant to their actions. This uncontrollable performance of varying durations is meant to make you realize that, just like these bubbles, everyone moves in different ways in a public space. In the eyes of the spectator all these interventions will have a guaranteed end. More important than their trajectory up to that point, is knowing when they will end, and how the next bubbles will behave when they reach this public space, always assuming that they all share the same purpose: to burst.
